Hello, and
thank you for taking time to look over my website.
I am David, and I am an artist, writer, designer
and musician.
I
was raised in what once was a very gritty part
of England called Liverpool, and so my work
often reflects finding something beautiful in
the darkest of places, exploring themes that
interweave personal history with often surreal,
dark whimsy.
Now living in San Diego, CA, with my wife-Lani,
more recently my work has begun to take on more
theistic, metaphysical themes, concentrating
on creationist existential questions, politics,
oppressive dogma,and issues of human origin.
My
work has been exhibited, featured and collected
worldwide-everywhere from an Argentinian newspaper,
to a Zeebrugge vestibule, and is licensed with
Pacific Trading. More recently, some of my characters
have been sculpted into figurines through the
company LTT.
In
the coming year, my art shall be featured in
the Coffeetable book 'Gothic Art Now',
alongside artists such as Giger & Brom,
and I am currently working on a reinturprutation
of Charles Dickens famous novel-'A Xmas
Carol'
